HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2001-436CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2001-436 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS NATHAN LANE/LANCASTER LANE ROCKFORD ROAD (COUNTY ROAD 9) TO 45TH AVENUE CITY PROJECT NO. 1014 WHEREAS, a report has been prepared by the City's consulting engineer, Short, Elliott, Hendrickson Inc. with respect to improvements to Nanthan Lane/Lanacaster Lane from Rockford Road to 45"' Avenue; and WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of Nathan Lane/Lancaster Lane by widening with concrete median and curb replacement for turn lanes, traffic signal installation and revisions, storm drainage, trunk watermain and trail improvements; and WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on October 9, 2001. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such project in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property along Nathan Lane from Rockford Road (County Road 9) to 45"' Avenue for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,832,137.56. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 13th of November, 2001 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
