HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2001-425CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2001-425 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT 2001 STREET RECONSTRUCTION MAPLEDELL/MAPLE CREEK AREA CITY PROJECT NO. 1001 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on October 9, 2001 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: A portion of Maintenance District 37 in an area east of Dunkirk Lane extending from 26th Avenue to 31st Avenue and from Comstock Lane to Zanzibar Lane. by the reconstruction of streets by the installation of a bituminous pavement including concrete curb and gutter and repair, storm sewer repair, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 23rd day of October 2001 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. Adopted by the City Council on October 9, 2001. (' _54-45 CCR 2001-42?.doc
