RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
2001 STREET RECONSTRUCTION
MAPLEDELL/MAPLE CREEK AREA
CITY PROJECT NO. 1001
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of
A portion of Maintenance District 37 in an area east of Dunkirk Lane
extending from 26th Avenue to 31st Avenue and from Comstock Lane to
Zanzibar Lane.
by the reconstruction of streets by the installation of bituminous pavement including
concrete curb and gutter and repair, storm sewer repair, and all necessary appurtenances,
and the contract price for such improvement is $1,674,640.95 and the expenses incurred
or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $312,144.16 so the total
cost of the improvement will be $1,986,785.11 and of this cost the City will pay
$1,666,040.13 as its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to
be $320,744.98.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be special assessed from such improvement
against every accessible lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected,
without regard to cash valuation, as provided by the law, and shall file a copy
of such proposed assessment in the office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the City
Council thereof.
