APPROVING A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR A LOCATION FOR 2
CHILLERS FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3955 ANNAPOLIS LANE

WHEREAS, Westin Construction has requested a site plan amendment for a
location for 2 chillers at Protein Design Labs on property legally described as
follows..
Lot 1, Block 1, Plymouth Business Center 3rd Addition, Hennepin County,
Minnesota.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly
called public meeting and recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does
approve the request by Westin Construction for a site plan amendment, subject
to the following conditions:
1. The site plan amendment is for an approval for the location of 2 chillers, as
shown on plans received on August 14, 2001, except as amended by this
resolution.
2. The screening of the chillers will consist of a 6 -foot high chain-link fence with
privacy slats in a color compatible with the exterior of the existing building.
3. Separate mechanical permit(s) must be obtained from the Building Division
prior to the connection of the chillers.
4. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and
approvals per Ordinance provisions.

5. This approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the
property owner or applicant has substantially started construction of the
project, or unless the landowner or applicant has received prior approval
from the City to extend the expiration date for up to one additional year, as
regulated under Section 21045.09 of the Zoning Ordinance.
