RESOLUTION 2001-405
REQUESTING CONVEYANCE OF PARCEL 03-118-22-24-0073
TO THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH FOR
STREET AND TRAIL RIGHT-OF-WAY AND DRAINAGE PURPOSES
WHEREAS, a parcel of nonconservation property has become tax forfeit as a result of
nonpayment of property taxes and/or special assessments; and
WHEREAS, conveyance of the parcel to the City of Plymouth would allow the City needed
right-of-way for street and trail purposes, as well as drainage purposes; and
WHEREAS, sale of the parcel to the City of Plymouth would also allow entities to pursue lease
of property for co -location of telecommunication equipment on an existing tower which serves a
public interest in minimizing the number of free-standing towers in the area.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, that it
hereby:
Approves the nonconservation classification of parcel 03-118-22-24-0073. A review of
public waterfront, wetland, peat, and timber issues has been done and no public nuisance
conditions were noted on the parcel. The City Council certifies that it does not know of
any wells located on the property; and
2. Requests conveyance to the City of Plymouth for street and trail right-of-way purposes
and drainage purposes.
