HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2001-398CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2001 - 398 APPROVING AN INTERIM HOME OCCUPATION LICENSE FOR JULIE SERBER FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 10130-32N" AVENUE NORTH (2001084) WHEREAS, Julie Serber has requested an interim home occupation license to operate a music studio in her home at 10130 -32nd Avenue North, legally described as follows: Lot 102, Block 1, Tiburon WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public meeting and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Julie Serber for an interim home occupation license at 10130 -32nd Avenue North, subject to the following conditions: The interim home occupation license is approved for a music studio in accordance with the application and plans received by the City on July 24, 2001 except as amended by this resolution. 2. Compliance with Section 21145 of the Zoning Ordinance, relating to Home Occupations. To protect the health, safety and welfare of the community, operation of the music studio shall be subject to the following conditions: a. The applicant shall comply with the following management plan: ■ All parking related to the home occupation shall be on the driveway ■ Vehicles parked in the driveway shall not have engines running during a lesson and no electronic equipment that produces noise audible from outside the vehicle shall be used by occupants of a parked vehicle ■ All students shall proceed to the home as quietly as possible ■ Students shall wait inside with the outside door closed, until they are picked up at the conclusion of a lesson Resolution 2001- (2001084) Page 2 b. The windows shall be kept closed during the teaching of music lessons to reduce or eliminate noise carrying to neighboring properties. 4. The interim home occupation license is valid for one year from the date of approval. The applicant may apply to the Zoning Administrator for renewal of the interim home occupation prior to expiration of the license.
