HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2001-362CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2001-362 RESOLUTION GRANTING AUTHORIZATIONS AND APPROVALS FOR TRANSIT FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT IN THE RESERVE CITY PROJECT NO. 1032 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has determined that a transit facilities development in The Reserve development would enhance public transit use among residents of The Reserve; and WHEREAS, Tradition Ventures, LLC and the Rottlund Company, Inc. have agreed to deed certain property to the City for the constriction of a transit passenger station in The Reserve; and WHEREAS, Tradition Ventures, LLC and the Rottlund Company, Inc. and by reference their successor The Reserve Master Association, have agreed to install landscaping and an irrigation system on the site of the transit passenger station, and maintain said landscaping and irrigation system; and WHEREAS, the City Council agrees it is in its best interests to grant certain authorizations and approvals to facilitate the development of transit facilities in The Reserve. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the City Council hereby approves the Agreement Between the City of Plymouth and Tradition Ventures, LLC for the Constriction, Operation and Maintenance of a Transit Passenger Station in The Reserve, and authorizes the Mayor and City manager to execute said agreement. 2. That the City Council orders the preparation of plans and specifications for the constriction of a passenger station and two remote bus stops with shelters in The Reserve. The architectural firm, LSA Design, Inc., is designated to prepare the final plans and specifications. C Documents and Settnig, anfieese Local Settnig, TempVC(R 2001-36254682 CCR 2001-362 doe 3. That the City Council orders the purchase of two (2) passenger waiting shelters from Brasco International, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $10,500.
