APPROVE ALTERNATE NO. 1 FOR OUTLOTS C AND D
BASS LAKE ESTATES ADDITION
COUNTY ROAD 61 (NORTHWEST BOULEVARD) IMPROVEMENTS
COUNTY PROJECT NO. 8544
CITY PROJECT NO. 9004
WHEREAS, the County Road 61 Improvement Project includes a required storm water treatment
pond (NL RP pond) proposed to be constricted in Outlots C and D, Bass Lake Estates Addition;
and
WHEREAS, the County Road 61 project includes filling of wetland, and therefore, wetland
mitigation is required; and
WHEREAS, alternative designs have been prepared for Outlots C and D, Bass Lake Estates
Addition; and
WHEREAS, alternate locations have been researched for the wetland mitigation pond; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That:
1. Alternate No. 1 be used to redesign the Hennepin County plan for storm water
and N[ -]RP Pond design in Outlots C and D, Bass Lake Estates Addition.
2. The Wetland mitigation pond be relocated off-site.
3. The County and the City will continue to work to enhance the county landscape
plan for Outlots C and D, Bass Lake Estates Addition.
4. The County and the City will develop a plan to mitigate the existing erosion on
the creek bed adjacent to the Ives Lane cul-de-sac lots.
