RESOLUTION NO. 2001-346
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL
FOR TRANSIT CAPITAL GRANT #SG -01-57 TO FUND
A TRANSIT STATION IN THE RESERVE
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth, and its transit system, Plymouth Metrolink, is eligible to
receive transit funding assistance from the Metropolitan Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2001-157 on April 10, 2001,
authorizing the application for transit capital assistance to the Metropolitan Council for a
transit station in the Reserve development located in the northwest portion of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has approved the City's request for transit capital
assistance and has forwarded an agreement for transit capital grant 4SG-01-57 in the amount
of $155,106.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council agrees it is in its best interests to approve the transit capital
grant agreement and proceed with constriction of a transit station in the Reserve
development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
That the City of Plymouth hereby approves transit capital grant agreement
4SG-01-57 between the Metropolitan Council and the City of Plymouth in the
amount of $155,106.00 to constrict a transit passenger station in the Reserve
development, and authorizes the Mayor and City manager to execute said
agreement.
