REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 3 AND FINAL
TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL SYSTEMS
CARLSON PARKWAY AT GLEASON LAKE DRIVE
CITY PROJECT NO. 9910
NORTHWEST BOULEVARD AT WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE
CITY PROJECT NO. 5019
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Electrical Installation and Maintenance
Company, as contractor, have entered into an agreement for traffic control signal
systems, Carlson Parkway at Gleason Lake Drive, City Project No. 9910 and Northwest
Boulevard at West Medicine Lake Drive, City Project No. 5019, said agreement being
dated October 26, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $287,873.00. The value of the
work is $284,983.10 and is herewith approved. This project underran the
contract amount by $2,889.90 or 1%.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for Carlson Parkway and
Gleason Lake Drive and Northwest Boulevard at West Medicine Lake
Drive Traffic Control Signal Systems and certified to the Council by the
engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released as acceptable
from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any
and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of
faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 3 and Final in the amount of $20,577.05 to
Electrical Installation and Maintenance Company for Carlson Parkway
and Gleason Lake Drive and Northwest Boulevard at West Medicine Lake
Drive Traffic Control Signal Systems is hereby approved and the City
Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same
forthwith.
