RESOLUTION NO. 2001-342
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLYMOUTH METROLINK
REVERSE COMMUTE BUSINESS MARKETING
PROGRAM AND BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has established a replacement transit service pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes Section 473.388; and
WHEREAS, this transit service, known as Plymouth Metrolink, provides a wide range of
transit services to residents and businesses in the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of the Plymouth Metrolink reverse
commute services to the City's business community; and
WHEREAS, a marketing plan has been developed to promote reverse commute transit
services to Plymouth employees and businesses, and to assist these businesses with hiring and
retaining workers; and
WHEREAS, the City Council agrees it is in its best interests to approve said marketing plan
for implementation by Plymouth Metrolink.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
That the City of Plymouth hereby approves the Plymouth Metrolink Reverse
Commute Business Marketing Plan and Budget dated August 2, 2001, directs
its implementation and requests that the Transit Administrator report to the
City Council and to the Plymouth Advisory Committee on Transit at the end
of each six month period of the marketing program on the program status.
