RESOLUTION NO. 2001-298
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING
PLUM TREE EAST 6TH ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the developer requesting installation of
ornamental residential street lighting in the Plum Tree East 6th Addition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Plum Tree East 6t1' Addition by the
installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on
July 10, 2001, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of
property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota
Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived
their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instnicted to report to
the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way
as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best
be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
Adopted by the City Council on July 10, 2001.
