RESOLUTION NO. 2001-257
APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 3
LIFT STATION NO. 2 RENOVATION
CITY PROJECT NO. 8030
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 has been prepared providing extra compensation to the
contractor for the following:
1. Modification to the fuel system for the generator. Move the large tank from
inside the building to a concrete slab outside, enclosed by chain link fence.
2. Extend 1 -inch diameter copper water service from the watermain in East
Medicine Lake Boulevard to the inside of the lift station building.
3. Substitute ductile iron pipe in lieu of reinforced concrete pipe for the 24 -
inch diameter sewer gravity influent.
4. Changes made to the sump pump and additional wiring by Bacon's Electric.
5. Modification to the generator.
6. Extend underground conduit under the road for the primary transformer.
This was required by Xcel Energy.
7. Extend completion date to July 28, 2001. This is necessary to complete the
outside fiiel tank and Revere Lane service revisions.
AND WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 for Lift Station No. 2 Renovation, City Project No.
8030, is recommended for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That Change Order No. 3 to Rice Lake Contracting
Inc. for Lift Station No. 2 Renovation, City Project No. 8030, by adding $26,424.00 is
approved:
