RESOLUTION NO. 2001-252
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR
PLYMOUTH METROLINK NEIGHBORHOOD
STOPS PROJECT #8035
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the constriction of Neighborhood
Stops for Plymouth Metrolink, City Project 48035, sealed bids were received and tabulated
according to law, with the following bids received in compliance with the advertisement:

Victor Carlson & Sons, Inc. $ 45,425.00
Nadeau Utility, Inc. $ 50,120.00
Jay Bros., Inc. $ 61,900.00
A & L Constriction $ 77,900.00
Maertens-Brenny Constriction $ 85,850.00
J.S. Cates Constriction $390,000.00
WHEREAS, it appears that Victor Carlson & Sons, Inc. of Plymouth, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into a contract with Victor Carlson & Sons, Inc. of Plymouth, MN on
behalf of the City of Plymouth for the Neighborhood Stops Project 48035
according to the project plans and specifications on file in the Office of the
City Engineer in the amount of $45,425.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the
successfid bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a
contract has been signed.
