HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2001-249CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2001-249 APPROVING WILDFLOWER GARDEN FOR PLYMOUTH CREEK PARK WHEREAS, a citizen group has approached the City with the idea of developing a wildflower garden in Plymouth Creek Park along 38th Avenue; and WHEREAS, both the Plymouth Environmental Quality Committee and Park and Recreation Advisory Commission have reviewed and recommended approval of said garden, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that a native wildflower garden on 38th Avenue in Plymouth Creek Park is hereby approved, and that funding shall be authorized from park dedication funds in the estimated amount of $3,000, and $3,000 from EQC fiinds, and further, the Council notes that this is an interim use of the property and that there may be other park and recreation uses necessary for this property in the fiiture. Approved by the City Council on June 12, 2001.
