RESOLUTION NO. 2001-220
APPROVING PURCHASE OF ENTERPRISE DATA STORAGE SYSTEM FROM EMC
CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the City's data storage capacity needs to be expanded, and
WHEREAS, the City received a proposal from EMC Corporation for an Enterprise Data
Storage solution at a cost of $230,000, and
WHEREAS, EMC Corporation is under the State of Minnesota Contract, and,
WHEREAS, EMC Corporation is determined to be the best solution for the City's data storage
needs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Finance Director is hereby authorized to
purchase an Enterprise Data Storage solution from EMC Corporation for $230,000 plus sales tax.
