RESOLUTION NO. 2001-207
ACCEPT PROPOSAL FOR
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES AND
AUTHORIZE THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
2001 MAJOR STREET MILL AND OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 1020
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a motion approving the 2001 Major Street Mill and
Overlay Improvement Project on May 8, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a proposal dated May 16, 2001 to provide design and
constriction engineering services for the 2001 Major Street Mill and Overlay Improvement
Proj ect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City Engineer is authorized to enter into
all agreements necessary to secure the services of SRF Consulting Group, Inc. for the design
and constriction engineering services in accordance with their proposal dated May 16, 2001
at a not to exceed cost of $113,000 and authorize SRF Consulting Group, Inc. to proceed
with plans and specifications for the Major Street Mill and Overlay Improvement, City
Project No. 1020.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED: That fiinding in the amount of $2,000,000 will be provided
for the 2001 Major Street Mill and Overlay Program Fund which is being funded through a
future bond sale.
Adopted by the City Council on May 22, 2001.
