RESOLUTION NO. 2001-168
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
PLYMOUTH BOULEVARD PARKING BAYS AND
OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 1002
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a resolution on the 20"' day of March, 2001, which fixed a date
for a public hearing with respect to the improvements for Plymouth Boulevard from 34"' Avenue to
County Road 9 based upon the 2000 Pavement Management Annual Update and the streetscape
concept for Plymouth Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the resurfacing of streets and the addition of parking
bays by the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary
appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required
notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 24"' day of April, 2001, at which time all persons
desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted
March 20, 2001.
2. The Plymouth Engineering Department is designated as engineer for the improvement.
They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
Adopted by the City Council on April 24, 2001.
