RESOLUTION NO. 2001-166
PETITION FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
PLYMOUTH BOULEVARD PARKING BAYS AND OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 1002
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted the City Center area streetscape plan; and
WHEREAS, such plan includes as an element parking on portions of Plymouth Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the portion of Plymouth Boulevard from 36th Avenue to County Road 9 has been
evaluated and is in need of street reconstruction; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is the owner of more than 35 percent of the frontage abutting
Plymouth Boulevard between County Road 9 and the northerly intersection of 34t1' Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That as property owner of the adjacent property, the City of Plymouth
hereby petitions for the improvement of Plymouth Boulevard by the constriction of parking bays and
street reconstruction pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
Adopted by the City Council on April 24, 2001.
