RESOLUTION NO. 2001-140
ALTERING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAYS
WHEREAS, it appears to the City of Plymouth, Minnesota that the streets hereinafter described
should be altered as to their designation as Municipal State Aid streets under the provisions of
Minnesota Laws of 1967, Chapter 162;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, COUNTY OF HENNEPIN, that the roads described as follows,
to -wit:
CONTROL SECTION 153, SEGMENT 020
Change Fro n1 Termini: Peony Lane from 54t1' Avenue to County Road 47 - Segment
length 0.75 miles
To Termini: Peony Lane from 54th Avenue to the intersection of 56th Avenue
and Troy Lane - Segment length 0.35
To Termini: Troy Lane from 56th Avenue to County Road 47 - Segment length
0.58
CONTROL SECTION 183, Segment 010
Change Fro n1 Termini: Lawndale Lane from County Road 47 to the Maple Grove city
limits - Segment length 0.25 miles
To Termini: Troy Lane from County Road 47 to Lawndale Lane at the Maple
Grove city limits - Segment length 0.51 miles
be, and hereby are altered as to their designation as Municipal State Aid Streets of said City
subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed forthwith to
forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways for his
consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said road or portion thereof, that
the same be constricted, improved and maintained as Municipal State Aid Street of the City of
Plymouth, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid Street.
Adopted by the City Council on March 27, 2001.
