RESOLUTION NO. 2001-133
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
PLYMOUTH BOULEVARD PARKING BAYS AND
OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 1002
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted February 13, 2001, a report
has been prepared for Plymouth Boulevard from 34"' Avenue to County Road 9 based
upon the 2000 Pavement Management Annual Update and the streetscape concept for
Plymouth Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the resurfacing of streets and the
addition of parking bays by the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and
gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on March 20, 2001;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property
within the designated Plymouth Boulevard Parking Bays and Overlay
Improvements Area, for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953,
Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $249,400.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
24th day of April 2001 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City
Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall
give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as
required by law.
