RESOLUTION NO. 2001-123
CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PAST DUE FALSE FIRE ALARM FEES
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on March 20, 2001, the City Clerk was
directed to prepare a proposed assessment for certain charges for the delinquent fire alarm permit
fees as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been
completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspections;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A public hearing shall be held on the 24th day of April, 2001, in the City Council
Chambers of the Plymouth City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at
7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons
owning property affected by such charges will be given an opportunity to be heard with
reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed
assessment to be published twice in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the
hearing, and shall state in the notice the total amount of the assessment. The Clerk shall
also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the
assessment.
