RESOLUTION NO. 2001-121
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
CHESHIRE LANE BRIDGE AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 9006
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the constriction of the Cheshire Lane
Bridge and Street Improvements, and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Robert R. Schroeder Constriction, Inc. $1,060,320.50

WHEREAS, it appears that Redstone Constriction of Mora, MN is the lowest responsible bidder,
complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract with
Redstone Constriction of Mora, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the constriction
of Cheshire Lane Bridge and Street Improvements according to the plans and specifications
therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the
amount of $991,528.51.
2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successfill bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
