RESOLUTION 2001-102
APPROVING SUMMARY PUBLICATION
OF ORDINANCE 2001-08
WHEREAS, on February 27, 2001, the City Council adopted Ordinance 2001-08; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 2001-08 made dozens of changes to the City Code to accomplish a
change from a Public Safety Department to separate Police and Fire Departments; and
WHEREAS, in lieu of publishing the entire ordinance in the City's official newspaper, State law
permits the publication of a summary approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the summary of Ordinance 2001-08, which is attached to
this resolution.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that the
attached Summary of Ordinance 2001-08 is approved for publication in the City's official
newspaper.
Adopted by the Plymouth City Council on March 20, 2001.
