RESOLUTION NO. 2001-082
APPROVING A SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
AMPITHEATER PROPERTY
WHEREAS, as part of the development of "downtown" Plymouth, the City was to receive title
to a ten acre parcel of land as payment of Park Dedication Fees; and
WHEREAS, the City received a deed to said parcel of land from the developer, but the developer
did not have clear title to the property; and
WHEREAS, a one-half interest in the parcel remains with the previous property owner; and
WHEREAS, the City commenced title registration on the property to clear the City's ownership
of the property; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney's office has negotiated a settlement with the previous property
owner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City Attorney is authorized to settle this matter with
the previous property owner for a payment in the amount of $25,000.
FURTHER, that fiinding for this amount is allocated from the Project Administration Fund
(Fund 408).
Adopted by the City Council on February 27, 2001.
