RESOLUTION NO. 2001-075
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY
XENIUM LANE SOUTH OF COUNTY ROAD 47
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain street use of a portion of Xenium Lane South of
County Road 47; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for February 13, 2001 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the
meeting of February 13, 2001; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on February 13, 2001 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of a portion of Xenium Lane South of County Road 47; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said right-of-way was not needed for public
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following street right-of-way be vacated:
That part of the South 30 feet of the East 700 feet of the North Half of the Southeast
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and that part of the North 30 feet of the East 700 feet
of the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, all in

Section 3, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, which lies westerly of a line
drawn parallel with and 40 feet westerly of the westerly right of way line of Interstate Highway
494.
Adopted by the City Council on February 13, 2001.
