RESOLUTION NO. 2001-073
APPROVING MUNICIPAL WASTE ABATEMENT INCENTIVE FUND
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has established a Municipal Waste Abatement Incentive Fund to
provide matching assistance to selected municipal residential waste abatement projects and to
distribute fiends to the Cities for development and implementation of waste reduction and recycling
programs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has joined nine othere cities to make application for a residential
waste abatement project grant and has been selected ; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to receive the waste reduction and resource conservation educational
tools that will be the outcome of this residential waste abatement project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City enter into the Municipal Waste Abatement
Incentive Fund Agreement with Hennepin County.
Adopted by the City Council on February 13, 2001.
