RESOLUTION 2001-055
AUTHORIZING PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended proceeding with
numerous park improvement projects; and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed said projects
and recommended approval of these projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, that the Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to proceed with the
replacement of playgrounds at Parkers Lake and Swan Lake, the addition of a new
playground at the Environmental Park, and the addition of restrooms at West Medicine
Lake Beach in accordance with a memorandum dated January 16, 2001, and fiirther, that
funding is to be taken from the appropriate park dedication and park replacement fiinds to
finance these projects.
Adopted by the City Council on January 23, 2001.
