RESOLUTION NO. 2001-049
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
MAGNOLIA LANE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 1005
WHEREAS, The City of Plymouth received a petition from over 60% of the property owners adjacent
to Magnolia Lane north of Sunset Trail requesting improvements to Magnolia Lane; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a resolution on the 19"' day of December, 2000, which fixed a
date for a public hearing with respect to the improvements to that portion of Magnolia Lane north of
Sunset Trail; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the reconstruction of streets by the installation of bituminous
pavement, concrete curb and gutter, local storm sewer, extension of roadway, extension of water main,
and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required
notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 2-1 day of January, 2001, at which time all
persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and
WHEREAS, ordering this improvement requires a majority vote of the Council since the project has
been petitioned for by the benefiting owners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted
December 19, 2000.
2. The Plymouth Engineering Department is designated as engineer for the improvement.
They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
Adopted by the City Council on January 23, 2001.
