RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION OF A
RUGGEDIZED LAPTOP COMPUTER FROM VERIZON
FOR CITY EQUIPMENT AND DESIGNATING SUCH
LAPTOP FOR USE BY THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY
WHEREAS, Director of Public Safety attends an annual retraining conference sponsored
by the International Chiefs of Police Association (LA.C.P.) at City expense; and
WHEREAS, while attending the annual 2000 conference in San Diego, California in
November, the Director of Public Safety was informed he had won a ruggedized laptop
computer from Verizon; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined the laptop would be a usefi l tool for the use of the
Director of Public Safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the Resolution accepting the donation of a
ruggedized laptop computer from Verizon as City equipment and designated such laptop
for use by the Director of Public Safety.
Adopted by the City Council on January 23, 2001.
