RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
NORTH CENTRAL -15 TRUNK SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN
CITY PROJECT NO. 9914
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the constriction of North Central -15 Think
Sanitary Sewer and Watermain, and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Lametti & Sons, Inc. $363,710.00
Northdale Constriction Company Inc. $375,607.28
Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. $413,136.00
S. M. Hentges & Son's, Inc. $417,125.45
WHEREAS, it appears that Meadowvale Constriction, Inc. of Elk River, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
Meadowvale Constriction, Inc. of Elk River, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the
constriction of North Central -15 Trunk Sanitary Sewer and Watermain according to the plans
and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City
Clerk in the amount of $351,149.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successfill bidder and the next lowest
bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
Adopted by the City Council on January 23, 2001.
