RESOLUTION 2001-030
ADOPTING POLICY STATEMENT RELATING TO
AFFORDABLE HOUSING
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is allowed to make recommendations on the disposition of tax
forfeit parcels; and
WHEREAS, the City occasionally sells City -owned property; and
WHEREAS, affordable housing is a priority issue for the City of Plymouth and should be
considered an option whenever an opportunity arises.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that the
following policy statement is hereby adopted: "As market needs indicate, affordable housing
should be considered as a priority when recommending disposition of tax forfeit property and
when selling city -owned property."
