RESOLUTION NO. 2001-024
APPROVAL OF THE PURCHASE OF TEN NEW CURRENT MODEL
REPLACEMENT POLICE PURSUIT VEHICLES
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved in the 2001 budget the purchase of new replacement
squad cars; and one additional squad car and
WHEREAS, the City may purchase off State contracts; and
WHEREAS, Superior Ford has a contract with the State. (contract 4426 1313)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, TO PURCHASE TEN NEW PURSUIT SQUAD
CARS OFF THE STATE CONTRACT THROUGH SUPERIOR FORD. THE
PURCHASE PRICE IS $214,290.00. INCLUDING MANUALS.
FURTHER, that the fiinding will be:
602-1760-8004-----$192,902.00
101-1511-8004------$10, 694.00
101-1515-8004------$10, 694.00
Adopted by the City Council on January 9, 2001.
