RESOLUTION NO. 2001-013
APPROVING THE 2001 PAY EQUITY IMPLEMENTATION REPORT
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 471, commonly known as the "Pay Equity
Law," requires that every political subdivision of the State report its actual compensation
plan every third year. The City of Plymouth is required to report its 1998 plan on or
before January 31, 2001 to the State Department of Employee Relations; and
WHEREAS, said legislation provides for rile making by the Department of Employee
Relations, regarding the form and substance of said report; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has prepared said report in conformance with the
requirements of the riles and Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 471; and
WHEREAS, said plan must be reviewed and approved by the City Council prior to its
submission of the Department of Employee Relations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does:
1. Approve the 2001 Pay Equity Implementation Report including each of the
exhibits attached thereto.
2. Directs the City Manager to proceed with the submission of the report and all of
the requirements of the statute.
