HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2001-008CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2001-008 APPROVING FIRE LANE VARIANCES FOR GRAMERCY CORPORATION FOR AN 80 -UNIT SENIOR COOPERATIVE APARTMENT BUILDING TO BE KNOWN AS GRAMERCY PARK NORTHWEST FOR PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF BASS LAKE ROAD AND WEST OF FUTURE NORTHWEST BLVD. (20137) WHEREAS, Gramercy Corporation has requested approval of a fire lane variance for an 80 -unit senior cooperative apartment building located north of Bass Lake Road and west of fiiture Northwest Blvd, legally described as; Outlot E, Bass Lakes Estates, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Gramercy Corporation for a fire lane variance, subject to the following conditions: 1. The entire building must be protected by a City approved automatic fire sprinkler system throughout the building. 2. A City approved automatic fire alarm system be installed throughout the building. 3. Approved Fire Department standpipes be located in approved locations in the building. 4. Site fire hydrants be located in approved locations with an approved looped water main system for the hydrants. 5. Fire flow calculations be submitted for approval.
