RESOLUTION NO. 2002-567
ORDER PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT FOR
2003 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 3001
WHEREAS, the 2000 annual update for the Pavement Management Program made
recommendations for the 2003 Street Reconstruction Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to undertake a Preliminary Engineering Report to determine
the work required on each street in the areas recommended to be considered for the 2003
Street Reconstruction Project; and
WHEREAS, the southern portion of Maintenance District 27, located west of Zachary
Lane, east of Clifton E. French Regional Park, including 36th Avenue on the south and
39th Avenue on the north is the recommended project area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City Engineer is instructed to
prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report with all convenient speed advising the Council,
in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvements are feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other
improvement and the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended.
