RESOLUTION NO. 2002-564
APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE PERSONNEL POLICY
WHEREAS, City staff periodically reviews Personnel Policy and recommends changes
to update the policy and better align it with the needs of employees and the external
employment market; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that an additional leave accrual be
provided to regular City employees not represented by the bargaining unit; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has further recommended that an additional half-day be
designated as either a holiday or given as additional leave; and
WHEREAS, other minor clerical changes are required;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve amendments to the
Personnel Policy in Article 3, Sections 3-2 and 3-5 thereof, providing for the changes
reflected in the attached revised Article 3-2 and 3-5.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above amendment will be effective on
December 21, 2002.
Adopted by the City Council on December 17, 2002.
