RESOLUTION NO. 2002-554
RESOLUTION ADOPTING MODIFICATIONS TO THE CITY'S FINANCIAL
MANAGEMENT POLICY
WHEREAS, the City's current Investment Policy does not allow the use of a third -party
custodian for safekeeping and securities lending services, and
WHEREAS, staff has concluded that third -party safekeeping and securities lending
services are in the best interest of the City, and
WHEREAS, it makes sense to incorporate any revisions to the Investment Policy into
the existing Financial Management Policy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
That the attached Financial Management Policy is adopted as a guide for City financial
management practices.
Adopted by the City Council on December 17, 2002.
