RESOLUTION NO. 2002-550
RESOLUTION ORDERING CORRECTION
OF HAZARDOUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Plymouth has attempted without success to
have the owner of certain property remedy the hazardous condition of property at 3005 East
Medicine Lake Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the property constitutes a hazardous
property within the meaning of Minnesota Statutes § 463. 15, Subd. 3; and
WHEREAS, the condition of the property has not been remedied by connection to
municipal sanitary sewer service, and it does not appear the owner is going to make the necessary
connection; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the appeal of the property owner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota:
1. The property owner's appeal is denied.
2. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes § 463.16 et seq., the City hereby adopts and approves the
Order to Remedy Hazardous Condition of Property attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
3. The City of Plymouth finds that the property located at 3005 East Medicine Lake
Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota is a hazardous property within the meaning of Minn. Stat.
§ 463. 15, Subd. 3.
4. The City's legal counsel, Campbell Knutson, P.A., 317 Eagandale Office Center, 1380
Corporate Center Curve, Eagan, Minnesota 55121, is directed to serve the Demolition Order
and to proceed with enforcement in accordance with Minnesota Statutes § 463.15 et seq.
