RESOLUTION NO. 2002-543
APPROVING REVISED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
HIGHWAY 55/OLD ROCKFORD ROAD AREA
UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 1033
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on August 13, 2002 the City's
Consulting Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Assoc., Inc., has revised the plans
and specifications for the improvement of Highway 55/Old Rockford Road Area Utility
Improvements, City Project No. 1033, by the installation of, sanitary sewer, watermain,
removal of a sanitary sewer lift station, and has presented such plans and specifications to
the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are on file in the City
Engineer's Office and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper
and in The Constriction Bulletin an advertisement for bids for the making
of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published twice, shall specify the work to be done,
shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on
January 7, 2003 at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council
Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids
will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified
check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
