RESOLUTION No. 2015-155
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE
2015 MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT (15002. 1
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2015 Mill and Overlay Project, bids were
received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and the following bids were received complying
with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that GMH Asphalt Corporation out of Chaska, is the lowest responsible
bidder, complying with the minimum qualifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to GMH Asphalt Corporation out
of Chaska, MN.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
contract for the bid with GMH Asphalt Corporation out of Chaska, MN, in the name of the City of Plymouth
for the 2015 Mill and Overlay Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the
City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $1,279,677.71.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the project would be funded from the following
sources: assessments in the amount of $1,299,034.13, the street replacement fund in the amount of
$437,234.53, the Water Fund in the amount of $490,621.07, the Water Resources Fund in the amount of
$281,588.88, the Sewer Fund in the amount of $237,613.50, and the Street Maintenance Budget in the
amount of $30,000.00.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 26th day of May, 2015.
