HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2002-514CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2002-514 APPROVING COMMENTS ON THE SHINGLE CREEK 2ND GENERATION WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is a member of the Shingle Creek Watershed Management Commission (SCWMC) which is a Joint Powers Watershed Management Organization and includes the northeast portion of Plymouth, including major water bodies such as Bass Lake, Schmidt Lake, Pomerleau Lake, and Pike Lake; and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has been a member of the SCWMC since it was formed in 1984; and WHEREAS, State law requires that watershed management organizations update their Comprehensive Storm Water Management Plans which are referred to as 2" a Generation Plans; and WHEREAS, the SCWMC expects to schedule a public hearing at their regularly scheduled meeting on December 12, 2002, and has requested City comments prior to that time; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the attached comments are approved and staff is directed to submit the following comments to the Shingle Creek Watershed Management Commission for their consideration and inclusion, as appropriate, into the revised 2" a Generation Plan. Adopted by the City Council on November 12, 2002.
