RESOLUTION NO. 2002-487
INSTALLATION OF A STOP SIGN ON THE EAST APPROACH OF
24TH AVENUE AT MAGNOLIA LANE
WHEREAS, the City has received a letter from a resident concerned with the lack of traffic
control at the intersection of 24t1' Avenue and Magnolia Lane; and
WHEREAS, City staff has obtained traffic volume data at this intersection and although this
approach of the intersection does not carry the lowest volume of vehicles, it is the leg of the
intersection that creates the "T"; and
WHEREAS, to provide for the orderly movement of traffic and more clearly establish which
driver has the right-of-way, the City Engineer has recommended that a stop sign be placed
on the east approach of 24t1' Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that a stop sign be installed on the east approach of
24th Avenue at Magnolia Lane.
Adopted by the City Council on October 22, 2002.
