HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2002-435CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2002-435 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT NATHAN LANE/LANCASTER LANE STREET IMPROVEMENT CITY PROJECT NO. 1014 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 24, 2002 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: Nathan Lane from Co. Rd. 9 to 45t1' Avenue and Lancaster Lane from Co. Rd. 9 to approximately 1015 feet south of Co. Rd. 9. by the reconstruction of Nathan Lane/Lancaster Lane by widening for turn lanes, concrete medians, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, new 8' wide bituminous trail, traffic control signal system, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 22nd day of October 2002 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. Adopted by the City Council on September 24, 2002.
