RESOLUTION NO. 2002-434
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
NATHAN LANE/LANCASTER LANE STREET IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 1014
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of
Nathan Lane from County Road 9 to 45t1' Avenue and Lancaster Lane
from County Road 9 to approximately 1015 feet south of County Road 9.
by the reconstruction of Nathan Lane/Lancaster Lane by widening for turn lanes,
concrete median, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, new 8 -foot wide bituminous
trail, traffic control signal system, and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price
for such improvement is $1,765,000.00 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the
making of said improvement amount to $341,269.00 so the total cost of the improvement
will be $2,106,269.00 and of this cost the City will pay $2,082,944.80 as its share of the
cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to
be $23,324.20.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be special assessed from such improvement
against every accessible lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected,
without regard to cash valuation, as provided by the law, and shall file a copy
of such proposed assessment in the office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the City
Council thereof.
