HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2002-422CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2002-422 ADOPTING PROPOSED 2003 BUDGETS WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared preliminary proposed 2003 budgets for fiscal year commencing January 1, 2003 based upon the requirements of the State Tax Law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the preliminary 2003 proposed operating budgets for the following fiends are hereby preliminary approved: General Fund Budget $20,387,468 Recreation Fund Budget 1,286,099 Transit Fund Budget 4,391,600 Water Fund Budget 31741,241 Sewer Fund Budget 5,572,997 Solid Waste Fund Budget 896,906 Ice Center Budget 875,000 Water Resources Budget 2,398,847 Field House Budget 270,000 Central Equipment Fund Budget 2,020,592 Risk Management Budget 621,198 Design Engineering Fund Budget 352,994 Employee Benefits Fund Budget 2,255,500 Information Technology Services Budget 1,546,101 Facilities Management Budget 831,317 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, (I) that the City Council concurs on the 2003 Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority budgets in the amount of $3,724,024 (ii) that this proposed operating budget resolution and the accompanying proposed tax levies contained in Resolution No. 2002-421 are being submitted by the City in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, and other applicable law in effect on this date; (iii) that the applicable law; and (iv) that the City Council declares its intent to take all necessary actions legally permissible to the submission and approval of the City's budget and tax levies both proposed and final.
