HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2002-421CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2002-421 PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX LEVIES FOR TAXES PAYABLE IN 2003 WHEREAS, the City Council has preliminary approved the proposed operating budgets for the period commencing January 1, 2003 and certain monies to finance said budgets are preliminary required to be raised from taxes on taxable property in the City of Plymouth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the following sums of money be raised by tax on taxable property in the City of Plymouth for 2003 as set out in the preliminary approved 2003 City budgets are hereby proposed to be levied: LEVY General Purpose General Fund $15,079,805 Infrastructure 1,283,400 Mill & Overlay 200,000 Recreation Fund 547,499 Capital Improvement 3 09, 000 Total General Purpose 17,419,704 Special Levies Open Space Bonds 238,476 Activity Center Bonds 430,230 Housing & Redevelopment Authority 552,120 Total Special Levies 1,220,826 Total All Levies $ 18,640,530 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said proposed tax levy be certified to the County Auditor of Hennepin County on or before September 15, 2002. Adopted by the City Council on September 9, 2002
