RESOLUTION NO. 2002-418
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF PART OF
A UTILITY EASEMENT FOR
LOT 1, BLOCK 1
WILLOW GROVE OFFICE PARK SECOND ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate part of a utility easement within Lot 1, Block 1, Willow
Grove Office Park Second Addition; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area
proposed to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for September 9, 2002 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the
meeting of September 9, 2002; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on September 9, 2002 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of part of a utility easement within Lot 1, Block 1, Willow
Grove Office Park Second Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement was not needed for public
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following utility easements be vacated:

That part of the 20.00 foot wide easement for utility purposes as dedicated in Lot 1,
Block 1, WILLOW GROVE OFFICE PARK SECOND ADDITION, according to the
record plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The center line of said easement is
described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence easterly on an
assumed bearing of South 88 degrees 52 minutes 30 seconds East along a
southerly line of said Lot 1 a distance of 285.00 feet more or less to a corner of
said Lot 1; thence North 1 degree 07 minutes 30 seconds East along an easterly
line of said Lot 1 a distance of 436.00 feet more or less to a corner of said Lot 1;
thence South 1 degree 07 minutes 30 seconds West along said easterly line a
distance of 47.00 feet to the point of beginning of the centerline to be described;
thence North 84 degrees 23 minutes 06 seconds West to a point on the westerly
line of said Lot 1, distant 55.00 feet southerly of a angle point in said westerly
line and said centerline there terminating.
which lies easterly of a line 20.00 feet easterly of and parallel with the westerly line of
said Lot 1 and westerly of the following described Line A:
Line A:
Commencing at the aforedescribed point of beginning; thence South 1 degree 07
minutes 30 seconds West along said easterly line a distance of 79.80 feet; thence North
52 degrees 55 minutes 00 seconds West a distance of 62.51 feet to the point of
beginning of the line to be described; thence on a bearing of North a distance of 117.00
feet and there terminating.
