RESOLUTION NO. 2002-417
ORDER PROJECT - STREET LIGHTING
CEDAR VIEW ESTATES
WHEREAS, on August 13, 2002 the City Council received a petition to install a street
light at the intersection of Quantico Lane and Gleason Lake Road; and
WHEREAS, the petition was signed by seven of nine (78%) of the benefiting property
owners; and
WHEREAS, a minimum of 35% of benefiting property owners must sign a petition
requesting a public improvement before the City can hold a public improvement hearing;
and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2002-370 of the City Council adopted the 13th day of
August, 2002, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to street lighting
improvements in Cedar View Estates Addition; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of one (1) residential street
light; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through one weekly publication of
the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 91h day of September,
2002 at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard
thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council
Resolution adopted August 13, 2002.
2. The City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this
improvement. He shall coordinate the work which will be done by Xcel
Energy.
Adopted by the City Council on September 9, 2002.
