HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2002-412CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2002-412 APPROVING AN "ALL -WAY" STOP AT THE INTERSECTION OF INDUSTRIAL PARK BOULEVARD AND ANNAPOLIS LANE WHEREAS, According to the MnM[-JTCD, an accident problem, indicated by five or more reported accidents in a twelve month period of a type correctable by an all -way stop (i.e. right and left -turns and right angle), may warrant a multi -way stop sign installation; and WHEREAS, there have been six right-angle accidents reported at this intersection in the last twelve month period; and WHEREAS, the traffic volumes on the conflicting approaches of this intersection are approximately equal; and WHEREAS, in order to provide for the orderly movement of traffic and provide for the safety of the public, the City Engineer has recommended that an "All -Way" stop be installed at Industrial Park Boulevard and Annapolis Lane. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That an "All -Way" stop be installed at the intersection of Industrial Park Boulevard and Annapolis Lane.
